As part of our strategic commitment to sustainability and carbon footprint reduction, Nando has successfully implemented two infrastructure projects aimed at promoting electro-mobility within the workplace. These initiatives involve the installation of modern electric vehicle (EV) charging stations equipped with dynamic load management systems at our key facilities in Kaunas.

Project details:

Project 1 (Call J11): Installation of EV charging infrastructure at Pramonės pr. 4B.

Scope: 1 Charging Station (Dynamic Load Management)

EU Funding Contribution: €595.78

Project 2 (Call J13): Installation of EV charging infrastructure at Europos pr. 39.

Scope: 24 Charging Stations (Dynamic Load Management).

EU Funding Contribution: €39,885.84

Objectives & Impact: The primary objective of these investments is to facilitate the transition to green transportation for our employees and operational fleet. By establishing accessible and efficient charging infrastructure, we aim to:

  • Encourage the adoption of low-emission vehicles.

  • Reduce the company's direct environmental impact (Scope 3 emissions).

  • Contribute to national and EU-wide climate neutrality goals.
