The beneficial microorganisms in Bio5 convert nutrients (N, P, K, Si) into plant accessible forms. As a result, they provide the nutrients to the plants and reduce the naturally occurring fertilisation losses (leaching, evaporation). By stimulating the plant root zone, microorganisms improve the nutrient intake.

Paenibacillus azotofixans, Bacillus megaterium, Bacillus mycoides, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus mucilaginosus (total concentration adjustable to the needs of the client). The carrier material is dextrose.

The seeds can be processed by coating or palletizing. When setting the application rate, it is recommended to achieve at least 5x 10^10 spores per hectare after sowing.
The product can be applied to fertilizers in different methods, i.e. granulation, palletizing, coating. Typical application rate is 0.1-1 kg of product per 1 ton of the fertilizer. Exact rates depend on typical fertilization amounts per hectare. Treated seeds and fertilisers can be stored for 6-24 months according to the applied technology. The moisture content should be limited to 12-14% or below and temperature should not exceed 5–30 °C.
The product can be stored for 24 months at 5–30 °C temperature in a tightly closed original packaging, in a dry well-ventilated place, protected from direct sunlight.
